Westhill Youth

There are no youth events planned for over the holidays, but you and your families are encouraged to join us for Christmas Eve Services at 5:30 or 7 this Saturday night, and for church on Christmas Day at 11 and New Year’s Day at 11.

Youth resumes Monday January 9 for Senior High (Cafe Monday at the Douglas’) and Friday January 13 for Junior High (Duct Tape-a-Palooza at the church).

**Edited to add:**  Saturday, January 7 at 10 am is when all the Christmas decorations come down.  If you could come and give us a hand, we would be grateful!  You could also come for an hour or two during the week before – that would also be a huge help.  Call Carolyn at the office if you want to come earlier and help.

Junior High – Adventures at the Mall! – Friday, December 16

Meet at the Shoppers Drug Mart entrance of the Northgate Mall at 7 pm; pick up at the North Albert McDonald’s at 9:30.

Senior High – Epic Christmas Party – Monday, December 19

This event includes being picked up by a limo to get to the party, so call Pastor Jared to let him know you are in!

Junior High – Come on out and Serve with a Shovel!  Dress warm and bring a shovel.  Meet at the church at 7; pick up is 9:30.

Senior High – We’re going Skating!  Dress warm and bring your skates.  Meet at the church at 7.

Junior High – Games Night!  Come on out to Westhill  from 7 – 9:30 pm and bring a friend or five.

Friday night – Junior High – RETRO BOWLING!

Meet at the Nortown lanes on Rochdale from 7 – 9:30.  Dress 80′s and bring $5 to cover the cost of the funky shoes.

Saturday is Decorating Day – Junior and Senior Highs are invited and encouraged to come help set the church up in all its Christmas Finery.  Come around 10 & we will provide pizza for lunch.  Bring a friend or a parent – the more the merrier and the shorter it will take!

Junior High – Gym Night!  Drop off & pick up at Elsie Mironuck School, 18 Wakefield Cres.  7 – 9:30.

Senior High – Laser Quest!  Meet at Westhill at 7. Cost is $8.50.

House Party Night!  The Mutschler’s are hosting the Junior Highs this Friday night, 7 – 9:30.   Everyone welcome – bring a friend!  1338 Reed Place.

Junior High – Insidee Outsidee!  Meet at the church 7 – 9:30.

Senior High – Serving at Souls Harbour.  Meet at the church at 4 pm.

Junior High –  ‘Versus’ Games Night-Friday, Oct 28 - 7 to 9:30 at Westhill, 8025 Sherwood Drive
Dodgeball and bucketball will be just two of the games students will play. Students should wear shoes and clothes they can run in. Encourage your teens to please bring their friends.

Senior High – Mini Golf-Friday, Oct 28
Meet at Westhill at 7:00 and bring $10
This is a change from the original plan to create a chance for our high school students to connect on the minigolf course.

This Friday night’s event (September 21) is for Junior Highs – a night of Jumbo Clue!  We’ll be at the church from 7 – 9:30 pm and would love to have you and your friends join us for a night of fun.  Hope to see you there!
